Goods Transportation Based On Information Interaction Technology

With the development of economy and society, the volume of the transportation of dangerous goods is increasing year by year, so how to effectively enhance the safety management in the transportation of dangerous goods is a topic worth studying. Due to the characteristics of the hazardous materials, dangerous goods transportation accidents causes more harm than simple road accidents, thus more attention should be diverted to a prompt and efficient treatment of casualties and environmental damage caused by breakage and leakage of the harmful substances. Based on an analysis of the management of dangerous goods transportation both home and abroad, this thesis tries to put forward a new mode of management based on the information interaction technology with an aim to improve the effectiveness of the management in dangerous goods transportation.Information is at the core of the information-interaction based safety management system which consists of such modules as the corporate database of the road transport enterprise of dangerous goods, the dangerous goods database, the traffic control database, the global positioning and geographic information system, the dynamic supervision system of transport vehicles. The safety management system is held together by an online reporting system to improve information sharing by providing traffic information for the transport enterprises to work out the optimal transportation plan which would then be sent to the relevant supervisory departments for an online joint examination and approval. And prompt feedback would be given after a synchronous check on the application offline. This online reporting system, improves administrative efficiency, accelerates the approval procedure by enabling the applicants an access to feedback and a check on their application, and serves as an effective supervision over the supervisory body, resulting in an effective mutual supervision and interaction between the applicants and supervisory body.Emergency management means an effective combination of the supervision system of dangerous goods transportation and the existing emergency reponse system. By integrating supervision with the dangerous goods incidents, information can be shared immediately through the online reporting system, which provides a technical support for a prompt and efficient rescue.
