Distribution automation is an important construction direction in China’s electric power industry plan in recent years, its construction level will directly affect the country, the society and every one of us. Good distribution automation level can bring more efficient clean energy use, can reduce pollution emissions, in line with China in the 12th Five-Year Plan; plan to actively respond to global climate change, vigorously develop the circular economy, and vigorously promote environmental protection and other key national development direction. At the same time, distribution automation can response global climate change and green low-carbon development in the 13th Five-Year Plan.This paper focuses on the construction of distribution automation system, through the research and analysis, to build a set of both universal and targeted distribution automation system solutions, the program is feasible, reliable, and has practical operability. This paper mainly introduces the status quo of power distribution and the basic frame of Guiyang Power Supply Station. Secondly, according to the Guiyang Power Supply Station distribution management system, this paper introduces the necessity of power distribution automation system. Secondly, the paper introduces the power distribution automation system, and introduces the design of Guiyang Power Supply Station, which is based on the design of power supply system. The practical requirements of the power supply station for distribution construction, improve the level of distribution construction of Guiyang Power Supply Station, improve the satisfaction rate of enterprise power supply.
