Scheme And Comprehensive Evaluation Of Intelligent Reconstruction Of Wangdian Substation Interoperability Equipment

IEC 61850 proposes a common communication standard to form a standard output and achieve seamless connection system by normalizing a series of equipment. With the construction of digital substation in 2009, IEC 61850 Communication Technology Standards has been applied to power system communication. And by the development of smart grid and smart substation, IEC 61850 Communication Technology Standard has been used universally in the intelligent substation communication.The present paper firstly introduces the development of intelligent substation, the characteristics of IEC 61850 standard, then analyses the feasibility of transformation for the traditional 500kV Wang Dian substation to the smart substation. And the newly constructed 500 kV Wu Ning Substation in Zhejiang is also analyzed. Then, the status quo, problems and Countermeasures of the management of interoperability equipment in 500kV smart substation are demonstrated in the paper. Finally, the comprehensive evaluation of interoperability management of transformer intelligent components is summarized, and the future research direction of Smart Substation in operation and management is prospected.The main contents of the paper are as follows:based on the transformation of traditional 500kV automatic Wang Dian substation, and the construction, operation, maintenance and management of new 500kV Wu Ning intelligent substation, comprehensive evaluation researches are carried out on the interoperability of equipment management in intelligent substation, and the quality of life cycle management for interoperability equipment from research and development, the factory, installation & debugging and operation, maintenance and decommissioning based on IEC 61850 Communication Standards is promoted and Smart Substation interoperability of equipment management system is formed.The transform of traditional automatic substation to intelligent, substation is introduced and new changes of construction, operation, maintenance the economic and technical benefits is also analyzed, finally the directions of future efforts of intelligent substation station is prospected.
