The development of the city led to the construction of high-rise buildings, and also promote the progress of the elevator industry. With the increase of demand, for the production of elevator manufacturing level put forward higher requirements, how to improve the automation level of the elevator manufacturing has become a focus of attention.The elevator door plank packing link is the key step of connecting the elevator door plank bent assembly and logistics distribution. The production unit of the effect of the work is not only related to the product quality assurance, but also to the entire production process of work efficiency. Due to the diversity of the contract at the same time, the door plank packing line number and kinds of accurate put forward higher requirements. Most of today’s elevator manufacturing enterprises still use the traditional way of artificial packing. This not only increased labor costs, but also restricted the production efficiency. From improving packing quality, accuracy and efficiency, and other parameters, in order to improve the elevator industry manufacturing production levels for the purpose, all need to study a set of suitable for existing elevator door plank packing automatic packing system.This research subject adopts configuration software with the programmable logic controller as the main control medium, puts forward a 3-dof right-angle coordinate robot hand packing way, at the same time into the enterprise informationization theory, designed and developed a set of multi-sensor, have more closed loop control strategy of elevator door automatic packing system.This article first analyses the subject demand, according to the existing elevator door plank packing way and the elevator door plank attribute characteristics, overall scheme for the system. Determine the tests of modern industrial control technology as the core, is suitable for many types of door plank automatic packing system. Then this paper discusses the automatic packing mechanical structure of the manipulator, analyzed the characteristics and the advantage using the rectangular coordinate manipulator.
