| In this paper I review research about the corporation cultures from China and all around the world, give a insight into the approach and progress of achiving the corporation values. I argue that the process of coporation value achievement can be divided into3stages:spread, absorption and internalization, meanwhile, the high productivity and performance are affected by the corporation value through3paths:the capacity of integration, learning and innovation. From many famous brands in th world I choose to study Hilton Group as a adequate case for the corporation value. I exam the development history of the Hilton Group, especially on the issue that how it improve the capacity to integrate, learn and innovate and finally makes it one of the most competitive leader in the industy. Then I analyse the situation of culture constitution in the service industry in China, suggest that the Chinese service units should learn from the experiece of Hilton Group to build up the corporation value. And the government should provide the supportion policy scheme.The whole thesis contains6chapters, in the first chapter I introduce the research objectives and questions, as well as the theoratical framework and methodology. The second chapter illustrates the related definition of corporation culture, then reviews theories about the corporation culture and competitiveness, based on the literature review I raise the innovation and weakness of the thesis. Chapter3through4is the core chapters of this thesis, Chapter3reviews the creation and development of Hilton Group, from a historical angle I clarify the Hilton Group’s operating status and management mode, and describe its corporate culture construction. Based on the theory review I analyze and explain the process and approach of realizing the value of corporation culture. Chapter5is an integration of previous two chapters, I establish the research framework of process and approach of realizing the value of corporation culture, with a detailed discussion about the value constitution of Hilton Group. Then I analyse the corporation culture of Hilton Group systematically, illustrate the implication for the service industry in China. In the end, I give the conclusion and direction for future research. |
