As time goes by, a consensus has been reached that the corporation culture has a huge influence on one corporation’s sustainable development. Throughout the domestic and foreign outstanding enterprises, whether the Stora which company has the longest history of the development and has more than 700 years in Sweden, or the Xiao Mi which has been established for only 5 years in China, a unique and excellent corporation culture has become a common identity. Especially in modern times,facing the fierce market competitions, the competition of enterprises on the surface is the product’s quality cost price and service. To a deep level,it is about management level and management abilities. Then to a deeper level, it is about the competition of corporation culture. Cultural factors, as the endogenous driving force for corporation survival and development, are becoming the core competitiveness which can not be replaced during the development of enterprise.FAWCRDC is the China FAW’s core R & D institutions. It is responsible for research and development of commercial vehicle products(heavy, medium, light and mini vehicle), passenger car(including passenger car, mini vehicle and bus), relevant assemblies and components for FAW Group, and also takes charge of key technologies development for the state and FAW. After more than 60 years of development, it has now grown up to the biggest automotive product research, development, test and inspection facility in the Chinese automotive industry. In this process, with the huge organization, the change of the personnel, the variety of the workers demands, it is necessary to construct the corporation culture which is systematic and adjust to the market competition condition. The importance of corporation culture foundation is becoming more and more prominent.However, at present, there are still some difficulties in the development of the corporation culture construction of FAWCRDC, which cannot meet the needs of practical work. For example, Lack of awareness about the connotation, means and system security, etc. Because of the existence of these problems, corporation culture’s function is not fully played out. Combined with my own practice, especially as a publicity worker in the Party committee department, I have the honor to experience the enterprise culture about the FAW and FAWCRDC, including not only the essence and uniqueness, but also the shortcomings. As a result, I choose the construction of corporation culture as the main content of my master’s thesis.On the basis of in-depth analysis of the relevant theories of corporation culture construction, this paper reviews the development process of the FAW and FAWCRDC. It starts from analyzing present situation of FAWCRDC’s corporation culture to find out the problems, and it also put forward countermeasures from the four dimensions including concept, system, behavior and material.
