With the rapid development of our country economy, people’s living standard improves gradually, tourism has become a basic demand of people’s life. How to meet the growing and changing travel demand, becomes the big problem to the multitudinous tourism destination and tourism enterprises. In the fierce market competition, tourism marketing as a strategy and means, plays a more and more important role.In recent years, tourism of Hohhot also has obtained the huge development, the number of tourists and tourism income is growing.But there are still large gaps,compared with other tourism developed areas. Especially yuquan district, as the birthplace of huhhot and the main tourism resources area, for a long time, there are many problems in the tourism marketing,such as fuzzy position, single product, non-standard market, inadequate investment, the lack of promotion,and so on. All these are restricting the further development of tourism.For this reason, this article study yuquan district tourism marketing problem from the perspective of marketing,and propose marketing countermeasures completely. It makes every effort to provide the reference to yuquan district tourism development in the theory and practice aspects.
