An Empirical Study On The Influence Of Entrepreneurship On Economic Growth In Heilongjiang Province

Since the1990s, as the core element of economic growth, entrepreneurial spirithas attracted increasing concerns from academic circles and has become the hot topicin economic affairs. In China’s southeast coastal areas, the activity of entrepreneurialspirit is increasing with time, and became the engine of economic growth for a time.As the northeastern old industrial bases, Heilongjiang Province has gotten greatdeveloping in economic level since the strategy of revitalizing the Northeast was putforward in our country, however, the role entrepreneurial spirit play in this economicgrowing has not been paid attention, and the action of entrepreneurial spirit oneconomic growth has not been fully come into play. Based on current developmentstatus of private economy of Heilongjiang Province,we in this paper analyzed thecorrelation between entrepreneurial spirit and increasing economic growth usingcanonical correlation analysis method accordingto basic theory of entrepreneurial spirit.Further, principal component analysis method was employed for constructing thecomposite index of entrepreneurial spirit, base on which the action mechanisms ofentrepreneurial spirit of Heilongjiang Province on its economic growth was empiricallyanalyzed by C-D production function. The empirical analysis results confirmed thepromoting effect of entrepreneurial spirit on the economic growth of HeilongjiangProvince but displayed obvious lagging. In the end, on the ground of the empiricalresults, we proposed a strategy of promoting the development of entrepreneurial spiritin Heilongjiang Province from the view point of provincial government.
