The Development And Practice Of High - Tech Zones In Urban Transformation

In the context of the urban transformation of Shanghai, Knowledge and Innovation based Community boasts a huge space of future development and faces a huge development opportunity and challenge. In order to win an advantage in competition, Knowledge&Innovation Community (KIC) has developed a path of urban transformation relying on the knowledge and innovation based resources of colleges/universities, explored the development of high-tech zones in Shanghai, the intrinsic laws between communities and colleges/universities and between communities and people, boosted the development of high-quality urbanization and soft power of city, and guided the urban transformation development model of Shanghai, which can be used as a reference for achieving the sustainable development of Chinese cities.First, by taking the KIC as a case, this thesis expounds the relevant theory and empirical research foundation of urban transformation, industry park development and knowledge innovation community development, draws on the development trend and practical experience of first-rate high-tech zones at home and abroad, describes the social forms of knowledge economy in the future, and proposes that in order to achieve the urban transformation of Shanghai, we should energetically develop knowledge economy, consciously create the spatial environment and social forms of "the third-generation high-tech zones", build an open and vigorous environment of knowledge and innovation based communities, attract knowledge workers with a high innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, and lay a solid theoretical foundation for the practical research of the KIC.By describing the practice process of the KIC, analyzing the strategy and tactics of the KIC, and summarizing important achievements and shortcomings, this thesis puts forward the development strategy and tactics suggestions with core competitiveness which suit the characteristics of the KIC, and provides theoretical and practical enlightenments with realistic operation significance for the similar urban transformation and the similar sustainable development of industrial high-tech zones in China.
