Study On The Transformation Of Resource - Exhausted Cities

Resource-based city use its abundant resources has provided a lot of energy and raw materials for China’s economic development. But because of the scarcity of resources,resource-based cities have been or will fall into a situation of resource depletion sooner or later.To seek a healthy and sustainable path of development for resource cities depending on the exploitation of resource for a long term.Therefore, the purpose of taking resource-exhausted city of Zao Zhuang as this article’s object is solving a series of problems caused by resource depletion.This paper mainly focuses on economic transformation, resource 、 social 、environmental transformation as the transition assistance to study in Zao Zhuang city. Only the successful economic transformation can lay the foundation for resource 、social、environmental transformation. This paper is divided into five parts, the first chapter is the introduction, including the research purpose, research significance, research methods, innovation, technology roadmap, insufficiency and the research status at home and abroad. The second chapter is the theoretical research, including the definition of resource-based city, the definition of resource-exhausted city, the concept of transformation of resources –exhausted city, and the related theories used in the paper, such as resources and property rights theory, sustainable development theory, theory of circular economy. The third chapter is analyzing the transformation of domestic and international success stories, provide a reference model for the transformation of Zao Zhuang city. The fourth chapter is describing overview of Zao Zhuang city, the need for transformation, and transformation path of Zao Zhuang has been taken. The fifth chapter mainly is carries on from the two perspectives of effectiveness and efficiency, using AHP and SBM model analyze the transformation results of Zao Zhuang city,getting the transformation efficiency obtained in Zao Zhuang city remains to be improved and the overall effect on the transition gradually improved, economy, society, resources and environment system is relatively coordination. The sixth chapter is the evaluation of the Zao Zhuang city transformation results, including transformation and progress of Zao Zhuang city, pointing out the problems of still existing in the transition, and solving the problems, putting out some suggestions for improvement, finally summarizing Zao Zhuang city transformation experience and providing reference for other resource-exhausted cities.
