Vietnam’s reform and opening success, on the one hand to speed up the Vietnam’s economic integration with the world economy, on the other hand, it also gives Vietnam brought new challenges; the face of the international community so many strong international competitiveness of Vietnamese aquatic products but opponents It is in continuous decline. Especially when Vietnam seafood exports to the US, both made some achievements, but also encountered some problems.In this paper, Vietnamese seafood exports to the US for the study, with the integrity of its development, the fundamental, long-term issues in-depth study designed to provide a reference for the development of Vietnam, while improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese aquatic products to further tap the Vietnamese seafood cultural value, internal and external environment for the development of Vietnam’s aquatic products were analyzed, identified the existence of opportunities and threats, strengths and weaknesses, and using RCA model Vietnamese seafood competitiveness, so as to make Vietnamese seafood brand Strategy Selection. Through empirical analysis, found the Vietnamese exports are still some problems in the US seafood trade, mainly: Vietnam seafood in the United States tax policy constraints on the development of aquatic products, processing of raw materials shortage hampered the development of export trade, Vietnam’s main export the product itself shortcomings, Vietnamese aquatic product quality and safety situation is worrying. Then through the analysis put forward specific suggestions:Breaking non-tariff barriers to facilitate trade and accelerate the development of aquaculture, processing of raw materials to solve the problem of "weakness" to promote deep processing of aquatic products, increase the export value-added products, improve quality and safety, enhance the competitiveness of aquatic products, to strengthen the role of industry associations and the government.
