Chinese Lighters Export Status And Problems And Countermeasures Research-to Use Li Cheng Company As An Example

China has become the world’s largest manufacturer of lighters. But China’s export trade of lighters is facing internal and external problems. I have engaged in lighters’export trade for many years, and have a deep feeling of lighters’export problems. It is crucial to solve the current difficulties for Chinese exported trade of lighters.This paper used the SWOT analysis and case analysis. First, the macro analysis of the status and problems of China’s lighter export, through the SWOT analysis, obtained the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese lighters industry and proposed solutions to problems. Then, through the micro case analysis of my company, combined the macro level analysis with micro level analysis to propose the solution methods of the actual situation of the lighter enterprise where the problems encountered in export trade.This conclusion shows that there is a lack of technical innovation of Chinese lighters export, the lack of patents and trademarks, and other disadvantages, and there are diminishing cost advantage and serious vicious competition within the industry, foreign trade protection measures, technical barriers and constant threat of a single market risk. Conclusions and recommendations of this study are not only for the lighter industry, which has a strong reference value for the relevant local government, small and medium enterprises.
