The Research On The Development Of People-oriented Urbanization

People-oriented urbanization is a new idea of urbanization construction for the disadvantages of the former paying more attention to matter rather than people of the urbanization. It requires that we should always focus on the survival and development of the people, pay more attention to the dominant position of the people in the process of urbanization, and create the conditions to meet the different needs of people. We should develop new concept of urbanization that have full range of respect for people, enhance angd promote people’s development.People oriented urbanization includes the transformation of the identity of the people, the transformation of the living space, the equal opportunities of development and the full integration into the city and town. First of all, in the process of promoting people-oriented urbanization we must ensure people’s prominent position. "people-oriented" development concept has to be established. And the development of urbanization will insist on government guidance,not the government-led, to ensure that the whole people can share the results of development. Secondly, the urbanizatuon should protect the rights and interests of the principal participants of urbanization,inclouding their basic survival rights such as land and housing rights and social security safeguarding the rights of vocational education, ensuring the ecological rights and interests. The last is scientific prevention and treatment of urban disease.we need to control the size of small and medium-sized cities reasonably, build a scientific and rational urban system, plan the small town scientifically and strengthen and improve infrastructure.Based on the theory of "people oriented", this paper examines the development process of urbanization in our country. It start with the basic connotation and significance of urbanization and people-oriented urbanization, and analysis of the difficulties and obstacles depply faced by China to promote the construction of people-oriented Urbanization. And through the typical case analysis and summary, the paper puts forward some measures and suggestions to promote people-oriented Urbanization.
