With the current level of intelligent power system gradually perfect, the substation automation level of power system in the voltage level of the increasingly high demands. Because of the economic level of Jiangxi area is not large city or coastal city developed, so the overall quality of power grid operation is relatively lagging behind many of our power grid system in Nanchang, there are many earlier established and there has been no old power plant, substation upgrade, so the old power plant, substation will faced with a challenge, namely integrated automation transformation. This thesis focuses on the integrated automation transformation project Chang Dong 220 kV substation process to carry out analysis, and the results of other conventional substation integrated automation transformation provides experience and improved design. The main work includes the following aspects:(1) for the 220 kV Chang Dong substation power transformer, circuit breaker, isolating switch, transformer and other equipment selection and optimization, upgrading of the main equipment are analyzed and summarized.(2) for the relay protection, 220 kV Chang Dong substation safety devices, fault recorder equipment selection, optimization and reasonable installation, the equipment modification and debugging for check detailed analysis and summary.(3) a comprehensive layout of 220 kV, Chang Dong substation comprehensive automation equipment overall planning, reasonable arrangements.
