With the development and the promotion of modern agricultural mechanical equipment, the demand for agricultural machinery and machine tools is increasing and application is becoming more and more widely. The miniature farming machine integrating the ploughing,raking and other farming function in one machine, which greatly improved the working efficiency and liberated the labor force in great degree. Today miniature tillage machine has been well received in the vast mountainous areas and hilly terrain. With the development of miniature tillage machine, people have higher and higher requirement for the multi-function of the machine(such as paddy field and dry land farming, ditching, ridging, banking earth, irrigation, spraying and other multi-functions), as well as has a small and light body, energy conservation and environment protection, walk well, safe and convenient operation, low noise, low price and so on.Under the national policy, the agricultural economy of Hunan province have been developing rapidly, so the agricultural machinery in Hunan are also get rapidly popularization and widely application. But for the individual homework farmers, on one hand, for some of the miniature tillage machine saled on market, their tilling width,power and price of are more than the actual demand of the individual users; on the other hand, for some others saled on market, their power are too small, the efficiency is low, only suitable for small greenhouse cultivation, but it can’t completely satisfied by some hilly and mountainous areas in Hunan whose arable land are irregular and small, those cause the miniature tillage machine do not get really widely application although they are has been well received by farmers in hilly, mountainous areas.This paper designed a new miniature tillage machine to adapt to farming in the hill, mountains and other places environment. In this paper, the main works includes the design and optimization of the dry tillage blade, the rotary blades arrangement, the whole machine size of design, the design and option of the rest components, the strength checking of the main stress components, then modeling the whole miniature tillage machine with Solidworks(a kind of 3D CAD software),and in the end of the paper have statics analysis of the rotary blade arbor and tillage blade with ANSYS14.0, and the modal analysis of rotary tillage blade roller with ANSYS Workbench14.0.During the miniature tillage machine design process, introduced the concept of man-machine engineering and designed a continuous height-adjustable armrest, it Greatly improve the operability of the miniature tillage machine, and the rotary tillage blade parameters also be optimized, in order to reduce the energy consumption in the process of cultivation. This paper have statics stress analysis for main stress components of the machine, it the stress concentration area and dangerous position of the blade axle and rotary blade, and have modal analysis for the blade roller, it comfirmed the first 10 order natural frequency value and vibration mode pictures and analyzed them at last.
