Microwave dielectric heating is different from the traditional method-Heat reflux extraction. It was a fast and effective heating method. Furthermore, compared with the hot reflux extraction the MAE was more timesaving and effective. The study indicated that the MAE method is fast, efficient and energy saving, which is useful for active compounds extration from Chinese traditional medicine. The main results are as follows:(1) Microwave-assisted extraction of Transhinone ⅡAA HELP analysis medthod has been developed for the separation and determination of Transhinone ⅡA in the extraction solution. Various experimental conditions, such as solvent constituents, MAE time, extraction temperature, microwave power, liquid/solid ratios and the pre-leaching time before MAE, materials size and extracted times were investigated to affect the percentage extraction of Transhinone II A. The extraction percentage of tanshinone ⅡA was obtained by97.55%, under6minutes extracting in70%ethanol water solvent at75℃,and the liquid/solid ratios of20:1(ml/g). Compared with the hot reflux extraction the MAE was more timesaving and effective.(2) Microwave-assisted extraction of SalvianolicBA HELP analysis medthod has been developed for the separation and determination of SalvianolicB in the extraction solution.Various experimental conditions, such as solvent constituents, MAE time, extraction temperature, microwave power, liquid/solid ratios and the pre-leaching time before MAE, materials size and extracted times were investigated to affect the percentage extraction of SalvianolicB. The extraction percentage of salvianolicB was obtained by7.92%, under7minutes extracting in30%ethanol water solvent at70℃, and the liquid/solid ratios of10:1(ml/g). Furthermore, compared with the hot reflux extraction the MAE was more timesaving and effective.(3) Microwave-assisted extraction of HesperidinA HELP analysis medthod has been developed for the separation and determination of Hesperidin in the extraction solution. Several factors, such as the concentration of extraction solvent, MAE time, MAE temperature, microwave power and liquid/solid ratios were investigated, and the optimal conditions were obtained. The extraction percentage of hesperidiin was obtained by2.40%, under14minutes extracting in70%methanol water solvent at65℃, and the liquid/solid ratios of25:1(ml/g). Furthermore, compared with the other extraction methods the MAE was more timesaving and effective. The result indicated that the MAE method is fast, efficient and energy saving, which is useful for active compounds extration from Citrus reticulata Blanco.(4) Microwave-assisted extraction of Ru KuaixiaoA HELP analysis medthod has been developed for the separation and determination of Ru Kuaixiao in the extraction solution. We expect that using MAE replace the traditional methods. At the same time, We extracted Transhinone ⅡA from the flotsam of salvia miltiorrhiza bunge by MAE, reasonably use the Chinese traditional medicine.
