In recent years many universities and colleges in China are increasing the number for the enrollment of foreign students as China takes opening up education as its strategy of Education Reform and Development. Based on the translation of the campus regulations of Taiwan××University, this report aims at analyzing the project process and translation case and discussing three issues that translators shall pay attention to regulations translation:firstly, how to do text analysis and make translation strategies; secondly, how to make preparation for translation; thirdly, the translation process which is based on the difference between Chinese and English. This report presents analysis and summary on the translation practice and may give some references for scholars who study this type of texts.The report falls into five parts:the first part gives a brief introduction to the whole project and analyzes the source text; the second details how the author makes translation strategies; after that, the third part shows the process of the project and how to do interlingual translation; in the fourth part, the author focuses on the use of parallel texts and the frequently-used translation skills in the project by analyzing representative examples; the last part makes a conclusion of the whole paper.
