In recent years, as China’s comprehensive national power increasing, theposition of Chinese in the world is becoming more and more important. A largenumbers of foreigners come to China for learning Chinese. As an importantlanguage skill, the oral expression gradually becomes the communicationmeans that the learners value most. From the point of the reality of the spokenChinese teaching for foreigners, the elementary stage which is the beginningstage of the whole teaching plays an extremely important role for the students.In the process of defining the task of the spoken Chinese teaching, theTask-based language teaching came into being. Based on previous studies,firstly, this article discussed the research status of task-based approach in theteaching of spoken Chinese. Secondly, based on defining the principles ofspoken Chinese teaching, it discussed the feasibility of this teaching methodused in language courses in primary oral Chinese. Thirdly, it discussed in detailthe application process task-based approach in foreign language courses inprimary oral teaching. Lastly, the writer summed up the application features oftask-based approach in foreign language teaching in primary spoken language,based on which accordingly conclude the important application strategy aboutthis analysis using in teaching Chinese oral to foreigners.Although the task-based approach is an application of wide range,according to its own characteristics and application in foreign languageteaching in primary oral,the writer concluded five application strategy, suchas: fun throughout, random testing and so on.The writer hopes that this articlecan provide more help for the educators who teach foreigners Chinese, andmake modest to the career of teaching Chinese as the second language.
