The Translation Of Military Words In Modern Uighur Language And Its Standardization

With the developing and raising of comprehensive national strength, andincreasing exchange in the military field of our country with other countries all overthe world. At times of economy and culture globalize rapidly everyday, most of thelanguages in the world receives tidal wave of new culture and new words andexpressions. And Uighur language receive the same influence too. Be the first to bearthe brunt is military field. There are many military words in Uighur language andfollowing is are some changes in Uighur language. These military terms play animportant role in all kinds of media, press release and army officers and soldiers dailylife. Though military term translation receives wide-ranging attention frominterpretation algorithm, and the interpretation work still exists some problems. Itsstill beyond our reach to translate in precisely and to standardize the military wordswhich emerge in endless stream. However, the understanding and translation ofmilitary words play an important role in foreign affairs. It may become an obstacle onforeign affairs if we doesn’t standardize it in time. Wrong translation of militarywords will bring about unnecessary trouble. So study of the translation of militarywords is becoming extremely urgent problem. Military words are the words used inmilitary field. The translation of military words is the most important part in militarytranslation. The accuracy of military term translation determines the understanding ofmilitary texts. In this paper, the author studies the translation principles of military terms and discusses some difficulties involved in it, such as standardization of Uighurmilitary words. Moreover, some tips on the Chinese Uighur translation of thesemilitary terms are summarized in this paper.
