“You" sentence is one of the most rfequently used sentences in the modernChinese, The verb "you" expresses different semantic relations in differentsentence structures.Although it is a verb, it doesn’t indicate action ormovement. It is difficult for the students to have a good command of the“You” sentence because of its complicated semantic relations and variousstructures.According to the teaching syllabus and existing research of “You”sentence,we classiifed and summarized this special sentence pattern from twoaspects:expression function and structure type. At the same time,we tried tofind out the corresponding patterns in Korean. By searching the “HSKDynamic Composition Corpus”,we got545sentences.Atfer excludingsentences which are vague in meaning and beyond the range of our study,we finally got502valid sentences.There are altogether ifve parts in this paper. The first part isintroduction. We stated the reasons and signiifcance of choosing this topic andsummarized the”patterns of “You sentence which are frequently-used according to the previous research and the teaching syllabus.丁he second partis the compairson between “You” sentence and relevant expressions in Korean.In this part, we compared the sentence element of Chinese with that of Korean.At the same time,we found out the corresponding expressions in Koreanwhich are related to "You" sentences of different expression function andstructure type. The third part is mainly about the error analysis of Koreanstudents on “You” sentence. We studied the errors one by one and classifiedthem according to the following ifve error types: omission, misuse, improperreplacement, word order error and pell-mell structure. Besides,we alsostudied the correct usage of “You,’ sentence. In the fourth part,on the basis ofthe previous chapters, we discussed the reasons for each error types mentionedabove. The fitfh part is the teaching suggestions of “Yo”u sentence.By studying the errors,we found that among these five error types, theomission error took the largest proportion while the error of improperreplacement and the word order error ranked the second and the iffthrespectively". To be concrete,the omission of You",the misuse of “You”before predicate verb and the improper replacement of “You,’ by other wordsare the most typical errors. When using the “You” sentence, Korean studentsare inclined to use certain patterns. In terms of expression function, they otfenuse the patterns which express existence or contentive possession; in terms ofstructure type,they tend to use the structure “Subject+you+Object”. Thecauses of each error type differ from each other and presents their own sides. Some errors derive from both the interlanguage interference and intralingualinterference. However, in general, we think that the intralingual interference isa more important reason which leads to the error of “You” sentence.
