There are numbers of homographs in Chinese an Japanese languages. AsChinese-Japanese homographs have the largest positive and negative transfer functionin the process of Japanese people Learning Chinese Language.Chinese-Japanesehomograph is divided into six levels in“Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus”, and thevocabulary of primary stage in are the basie words for the initial stage of Chineselanguage teaching to foreigners.So comparative analysis on the homographs is also ofgreat value for Chinese vocabulary teaehing to Japanese leaners.This paper, on thebasis of the other researchers’ results and with the Chinese-Japanese homographs inprimary stage of “Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus”, as the object of study, makesstatisties and comparative analysis on word pragmatics,meaning and part of speech ofthe homographs, and clearly identifies the differences and similarities between thehomographs.To help the Janpanese learners to identify the differences betweenChinese-Japanese homograph, improve the effencicy of mastering the Chinesevocabulary, then take better advantage of the role of positive transfer from thei rnativelanguage, reduce negative transfer effeet.Through the investigation of the existingChinese vocabulary teaching methods in second language teaching, combining withthe contrastive analysis of the conclusions, this paper gives some ideas and proposalsabout teaching Chinese as a second language.This paper is divided into five chapters:ⅠIntroduetionThis part presents the purpose of subjeet selection and the up to date researehstatus.And presents explanations about coneepts, origins and classifications ofChinese-Japanese homographs based on the other researehers’ results.ⅡComparative Analysison Chinese-Japanese Homograph in Primary Stageof“Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus”This part makes exhausted quantitative statisties on two-word vocabulary inprimary stage of“Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus”,classifies the homographs basedon the similarities of word meanings into isomorphic synonyms,homonyms and somorphic near synonyms,and makes comparative analysis on word pragmatics,meaning and part of speech.ⅢRevelation for Chinese vocabulary teaehing to Japanese learners from theanalysis of Chinese-Japanese Homograph.Based on the results of statisties and analysis,this part presents that somorphicnear synonyms is the key and difficult points of Chinese vocabulary teaehing toJapanese learners.Combinding the error analysis and the situation, put foard someproposals and suggestions about Chinese vocabulary teaehing to Japanese leaners.ⅣConelusionThis part makes a conclusion and summery on the whole paper, points out theinadequacy hereinto and indicates the future researeh area.
