Zhumadian City Image Design Study Visual Recognition System

It is necessary that cities need shaping a good and unique city image to clear their own positioning, todig their own advantages and to improve their competitiveness in the tide of rapid development of thesociety. In order to meet the demand of this new time，the author puts forward the topic that is to researchhow to design the visual identification system of the city’s image. Hope that we can give the usefulSuggestions in improving the whole city image of ZhuMaDian through organized analyzing andgeneralizing.Paper have three parts research content. First is to build a theoretical framework of designing thevisual identification system of the city’s image. Second is to research and analysis what the ZhuMaDiancity’s visual identification system looks like now. The third is to induction and summarizes the designprinciples and the matters needing attention. In the end, according to ZhuMaDian city’s characteristics andresources of history, culture, geographical and cultural, the author provides advices about how to design thevisual identification system of the city’s image which contains the city logo, city color, city public facilities,city sculpture, and city guide sign. Hope to promote the construction of visual identification system ofZhuMaDian city image.
