Cross-cultural communication is the process to exchange ideas and feelings of different cultural backgrounds with each other. With the deepening of globalization, there are increasingly more and more exchanges and cooperation between different countries and cultural backgrounds, particularly, the number of international students groups is continues to expand. Whether they can adapt to the learning life and keep good interaction with the locals or not become widespread concern of cross-cultural adaptation research in recent years. While the domestic research on college students’ communicative has been an important research topic in the interpersonal theory, but the research of intellectuals interpersonal between international students and Chinese students is very scarce. The largest proportion of foreign students in Fudan University are Korean students, what’s more, degree students are mainly Korean students. Coupled with the implementation of undifferentiated teaching in different colleges, Chinese and South Korean students belong to a collective, therefore the status of the interpersonal relationships between them is very noteworthy. But the author observed that the relationship between Chinese and South Korean students is not very harmonious. To understand the situation and the cause of the interpersonal barriers in Chinese and South Korean students better, I conducted a series of empirical studies. This paper is divided into seven parts:The first part is an introduction on the Korean students studying in China, the interpersonal problems of the Korean students in China can not be ignored, and further noted that the integral relationship of cross-cultural adaptation and interpersonal relationships between Korean students and Chinese students, expounded the significance of this study, also the focus and difficulty of this.The second part is the research summary. Recalling the interpersonal theory and the perspective of cross-cultural adaptation theory, which has laid the foundation of this study. The third part is the research method, which introduced the research methods, including quantitative research, qualitative analysis, and how to design the survey samples, data collection, material classified.The fourth part is the core part of the thesis, mainly about the interpersonal situation between Chinese and South Korean students.Through quantitative and qualitative research methods to come to the conclusion that the bilateral student interpersonal condition is poor and classified the situations.The fifth part is another core part of this paper, according to the findings of the fourth part to do the analysis, studied main factors of the interpersonal barriers, combined with the analysis of their questionnaire, classroom observation and interviews recorded while theory discussion. The sixth part is the suggestions part, analyzed interpersonal obstacles provided under the fifth part, proposed countermeasures and suggestions to promote China-Korea good student interaction. Part seven is a summary conclusion, the results of the study, and noted the shortage of this research which need to be further explored in the future.The research results show that the interpersonal situation between the Chinese and South Korean students is worrying, both have few cross-cultural communication experience, low frequency of interaction, exchanges extent is shallow, interpersonal tensions and misunderstandings problems. The impact of these obstacles generated mainly due to the impact of interpersonal cognitive biases, cultural differences influence, lifestyle differences, the lack of communication platform, language barriers, and communication motivation weakened or inadequate. Finally, based on further research, proposed the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the students as well as colleges and universities of China and South Korea, to provide some references and suggestions for improving China-Korea students interpersonal relationships.
