With the opening-up of China to the outside world, the tourism as a pillar industry in China’s economic plays an increasingly important role. For foreign visitors, the most direct way to learn about China’s tourist attractions is through reading. The development of Chinese tourism’s service consciousness and related supporting facilities are not perfect, especially in the north, there are few comprehensive introduction books of tourism in English. As an important province in the northeast area, Heilongjiang in the aspect of tourism is more outstanding, but relative propaganda is very weak. Therefore, the author chose this text. Translation report consists of four parts: task description, task process, case analysis and conclusion. The author thinks that the translation of tourism text, first of all, should consider the feelings and the acceptance of the readers, which make foreign readers and visitors can not only know about the tourist attractions information, but play a role in promoting business. Therefore, the author selected the Readers’ Response Theory as the theoretical basis of this translation. In the process of reading related literature, the author found that in the past mostly studies of tourism text is related to domestication and foreignization. And the author believes that the fundamental reasons of tourism text translation lies in the target language readers whether can fully accept the translation. Due to the particularity, diversity and complexity, tourism translation is still not familiar to translators, so the trained personnel for this field are still lacking. This report takes tour guide presentation as study object discussing the ways to realize the function of tourism text in specific conditions and the solutions for language and culture factors.
