The Research Of Liangpin New Year Pictures Elements Involved In City Public Art

City Public Art is a significant showing of city’s unique identity and degree of civilization, and an advantageous art form for the improvement of city quality and connotation. It reflects the cultural image, creative energy, democratic politics and humanistic care of one city, and it is closed related to the city’s economic vitality, cultural prosperity, innovation ability and even social harmony. Along with the accelerated process of urbanization and globalization, the original characteristics of urban public space gradually become similar, and this phenomenon is more and more outstanding. How to excavate for the cultural connotation of the city and make city has unique character and charm already becomes the question which urgently needs to be solved.Liangping city has long history and sple ndid culture, and it is one of the counties with most state- level non- material cultural heritage nationwide, but none of its local profound cultural characteristics has been applied to local urban public art design yet. It will be of great importance to form the unique and distinctive city image, to enhance Liangping’s urban cultural characteristics and quality and to promote urban economic development, if city local cultural characteristics could be fully applied into local city public art design.In this paper, the concept, features and importance of public art are summarized; the existing problems of Liangping’s public art design are analyzed through field study of present situation of Liangping city public art; Liangping public art design countermeasures are put forward, we recommend to regard one of Liangping national intangible cultural legacies of the "Liangping New Year pictures" as a breakthrough to incorporate it into city public art design of liangping and we also analyze its feasibility; and we demonstrate it by drawing from the successful case of cultural elements of other city into learn to intervene in other cities and cultural elements of city public art design; Finally, the specific application methods and measures about how to apply Liangping’s New Year pictures to the city public art design are put forward.Liangping New Year pictures is a rare public art element, which carries the Liangping’s cultural imprint and fully applies the artistic elements of Liangping New Year pictures to city public art of Liangping and will enhance the integrity, regionality, artistry and culture of Liangping, and is also conducive to the inheritance and preservation of the national intangible cultural heritage of "Liangping New Year pictures" at the same time. The purpose of exploring the city public art with the local cultural characteristics of Liangping is to create an public space with distinctive regional culture atmosphere and livable space of Liangping. However, due to backward economic development of Liangping, along with the new concept of public art in our country, many problems of current public art in Liangping art inevitable problems arise, which is also the common problems of city public art of many other cities. This study plays a valuable role for the development of Liangping’s public art.
