TCFL textbooks are one of the important medium to spread Chinese traditional culture and language. In Chinese teaching classes, textbooks are first materials for foreign students. And the English translation of Chinese characters are the most important medium for students to understand Chinese character. Thus,accurate translations are very important, and they directly affect students’ Chinese understanding.Glossary teaching is the first step of Chinese teaching. Proper language translations will promote student to transfer mother language and target language positively, and build one’s own Chinese interlanguage. Therefore teachers, students and translators need to pay more attention to it. The article is about the problem in translation of TCFL textbooks. We hope that we can solve the problem and reduce the negative influence of it. The full text is divided into six chapters.The dissertation mainly consists of three parts, that are the preface, the body part and the conclusion.The first chapter is the introduction, first of all, about the present situation of teaching Chinese new words meaning to carry on the analysis, and introduces the theoretical basis and method of research.The second chapter is primary "Chinese textbook" by investigating analysis volume 1, the second volume of and primary "development of Chinese", "new practical Chinese textbook" new words found some commentaries translation problems.Mainly include:Meaning and separated from the text, the differences of the translation of words, words of additional meaning, usage, and the function words, quantifier annotation is not accurate, and other issues.The questionnaires in this chapter mainly investigates the students on the content and form new words meaning and effect of the "Chinese textbook" new words meaning.The third chapter is to solve above problems, the author from teaching material selecting standard and word Chinese-English vocabulary comparison, the Angle of cross-cultural communication and so on an initial investigation on the causes of problems in the translation and discussed.The fourth chapter is based on the problems existing in the course of translation summarized the types of errors,In order to enhance the persuasion of the article, in this chapter, the author will also be part of the typical target word retrieval in HSK dynamic composition corpus, found out the related bias case, combine students common errors encountered in practice, the writer summarizes students English comments problems of acquisition errors and the teaching material has a certain correlation.The fifth chapter is the principle of translation teaching the new words and put forward its own proposals.The sixth chapter is the conclusion, summarizes the full text, and pointed out shortcomings.
