Practice Report On The Chinese Translation Of China’s Real Estate News In Foreign Media

With the development of globalization, attention has been increasingly paid to the development of China’s real estate market by the foreign media. The writer of the practice report translated such English news into Chinese. Based on the translation, this report is made in which the translation procedure and problems concerned are analyzed.This report includes four major parts-- the translation task description, the translation procedure description, the case analysis and the conclusion. The translation task description part presents the background, the requirements and the features of the task. The translation procedure description part is an introduction to the specific procedure of the translation. In the case analysis, the problems in the translation of news titles, the internal logic and the comprehension of specific words/phrases and the proper terms are classified, the solutions are analyzed and the translation strategies used in solving similar problems are discussed. Analysis is made on the unsolved problems in the conclusion part.It is hoped that this report can deepen the understanding of such news translation and be helpful for such translation activities.
