Along with the social from all walks of life concerned about the height of the sports dance, whether in the sports dance competitive level or in the mass sports dance popularization have made unprecedented achievements. At the same time, in professional sports dance in colleges and universities are increasingly hot. At present colleges sports dance teaching and training team proved to be more powerful, first-class technology and practical spirit, but on the teaching content is still lack of a complete system to for guidance and support, the choice of teaching content mainly comes from the teacher; Lesson hours failed to fully meet the students’ thirst for knowledge, teaching material also failed to standardize and unified, so to targeted training sports dance talents will cause certain influence. System of the teaching content is to realize training target, school teachers to complete teaching tasks, the important guarantee of a concerted effort to cultivate excellent talents.This paper, taking the waltz teaching content system as the research object, by the methods of documentary, expert interview, questionnaire survey method, classroom demonstration method, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and other research methods, with the characteristics of the waltz, movement skill forming process for the theoretical basis, according to the development of university teaching waltz, in wuhan sports college as an example to conduct a comprehensive analysis and study of waltz teaching content, construct to adapt themselves to new century teaching reform, training target system of the teaching content. The conclusion is as follows:(1) At present the teaching content of waltz is broad, teachers’ basic is according to your plan and long-term teaching experience for the waltz, this will cause the classroom teaching content, teaching progress between differ, level differences.(2) Lesson hours less problems common in colleges and universities, and students desire to study time and contents of the gap is bigger, the waltz is hard beauty competitions, less class time this will directly affect the quality of learning.(3) Waltz teaching contents in the school sports dance specialized training goal, for the purpose of tasks to complete school sports dance course, according to student’s body and mind development characteristic and the actual needs of the students, etc., with the theory of the waltz, technical skills, quality training, evaluation and so on as the main content, with teaching practice, the game as the organizational form, a rational selection after after processing, teacher and student interaction in the teaching the content of the environment.(4) Waltz in the school sports dance teaching content system of special curriculum goal and students on the basis of the development needs, from theoretical part, the technical part of the waltz, reasonable choice quality practice, arrange the teaching content, and through the evaluation results timely feedback, the process of perfecting the system.(5) Waltz teaching content system can be roughly divided into three levels of indicators, after experts believe, theoretical part can be based on the features of the waltz, music and the waltz, appreciation, Chinese and English terminology and criteria of five aspects arrangement theory content.(6) Waltz largish proportion in the teaching content system is the content of the technical part, after experts identified technology part may from the basic elements of waltz, basic action, defined hierarchy combination, in combination of the teaching in four aspects.(7) Waltz teaching content system of quality content is the guarantee of achieving technical content, after experts that are divided into physical quality and psychological quality two second-level indexes.(8) Waltz of the construction of the teaching content must conform to the needs of social development, meet the needs of students, in addition to the professional theory knowledge, the technology, art performance and overall training students’ practical ability and so on, to make the students get all-round development, but also pay attention to scientific, emphasizes the effectiveness and pertinence, highlight the dominant and time.
