Regional agricultural products are produced in the specific region. They are affected bygeographical environment factors and have a long-term development with distinct regionalcharacteristics. When it comes to their marketing, packaging has an important role as a silentsalesman.Through analysis of the current situation of branding and packaging of regional agriculturalproducts, it depicts the problem of the government, industry associations, cooperatives and enterprisesin the regional brand marketing of agricultural products.Clear the present situation of the brandconcept and brand design..It reveals the issues in regional agricultural product packaging design aswell as the responsibility of the government, enterprises, farmers, consumers and designers.In theaspect of regional agricultural products packaging design and planning, it is in accordance with the"plan first, design next" rule,according to the design process, it develops a strategy and guidance forpackaging design, from overall planning to product packaging design planning, then to corporatepackaging design planning. It depicts the strategy and plans for regional agricultural productspackaging design under the guidance of government brand and corporate brand to clearify the designplan of the enterprise.Regional agricultural products packaging design should pay attention to theirown characteristics,and study haw the enterprises melt together the traditional culture elements, visualfactors, materials and craft, shape and structure,regional characteristics to promote the construction ofregional culture brand.
