The dissertation focuses on the emergence, development and evolutionstages of graphic advertisement in China under1980s culture context, giving asystematic demonstration. Firstly, by studying1980s social background,including economy, culture, education and lifestyle, it shapes the impulse theemergence and development of graphic advertisement, which is a contributionof multiple factors. Meanwhile, traditional arts philosophy for design began toshift to modern ideas. Then, it analyses art the expression of graphicadvertisement in1980s, including its categories and features, resulting thecharacteristic pattern of the time. In the last part, the study leads to theconclusion that graphic advertisement design in1980s is of important value formodern advertisement design. Design in1980s has made great efforts topreserve and develop Chinese traditional culture when absorbing nutritionfrom western ideas. The efforts will benefit Chinese design work in presenttime and future. |
