A Translation Project Report On Scientific News Of Computer Networking And Communication Technology

This is a translation project report on scientific news of computer networking and communication technology, aiming to explore its translating methods on basis of personal translating practices. The selected materials for translating are the latest news on the on-going development of things of Internet and communications technologies. The main contents of this translation project report are divided into four sections:Part One is the introduction of the background, where the project’s significance is elaborated and report’s structure introduced; Part Two introduces the research background, which consists of theoretical basis and brief description of original materials to have been translated; Part Three focuses on the difficulties encountered in the translating process and solutions illustrated with examples cited from the translated materials. In this part, the author will give a brief introduction to the translating process and summarize translating rules to be followed, and then go on to elaborate on how to settle the problems at three grammatical levels, i.e. that of vocabulary, sentence and style; Part Four concludes with the lessons, enlightenments and unsolved problems in the translation project. Among these four parts, Part Three serves as the key part.
