In order to attain great effect of teaching, teachers need design instructionsystemically and scientifically. Since, teaching design plays an important role in theprocess of teaching Chinese as a second language. In the traditional teaching design,devising of teaching is short of cohesion and each teaching step is quite independent,which makes students hard to take and finally affect the teaching effectiveness. Forthe sake of solving this problem, cohesion of each step of teaching design isoptimized for making the process of teaching as an organic whole in this paper.There are four chapters in this article.The first chapter is introduction. In this part, the background and studyingsignificance of this thesis are demonstrated. The definition of foreign and domesticinstructional design is also summarized and the researching statement of theinstructional design of the teaching of Chinese as a second language is elaborated.And the theoretical bases of teaching design are summarized. Otherwise, linguistics,psychology, communication and intercultural communication are discussed and thescientific theories are used to guide the practical teaching.The second chapter involves the general analysis of teaching. This part belongsto the preparation in early teaching. Textbook, teaching object, keys and difficulties,teaching aim, teaching strategy, teaching practice and teaching instruments areanalyzed respectively and systemically. Then a sound teaching idea is accomplishedand it laid a foundation for subsequent and specific instructional design.The third chapter is about instructional program in detail. It makes a systemicinstructional design for Eating in China. This instructional program is focuses onoptimizing the cohesion of each teaching step. The lexicons are reordered scientifically and rationally for making the connections between word and word,word and sentence closer. There is gradually transiting from primary courses tosecondary courses. The requirements listening, speaking, reading and writing getsincreased gradually. Thus, the cohesion between courses become more natural andthe instruction become more humane.The last chapter is conclusion. This thesis mainly focuses on optimizing thecohesion of each teaching step for making the process of teaching as an organicwhole in this paper. By do this improvement, the teaching of Chinese as a secondlanguage can receive a better teaching effect.
