A Comparison Of Mian Department Word In The KangXi Dictionary And The Chinese Dictionary

Kangxi Dictionary and The Chinese Dictionary are two major languages of the monumental book,which stand firmly on the history of our country. This paper takes Mian Department word of two dictionaries into study, comparing their similarities and differences, then summarizes the law. The first is to compare the similarities and differences of the Mian Department Word in the four aspects of the received word, the analysis of font, phonetic, interpretation and other more. Secondly,taking the new Mian Department Word in the Chinese Dictionary into the study about classification and traceability. And to study the evolution rules of shape of The Mian Department Word in the two dictionaries.And the contrasting with the words of "Table of General Standard Chinese Characters" in order to know the usage of Mian Department Word in Modern Chinese Characters. Finally,pointing out the insufficiency of The Mian Department Word in the two dictionaries at the aspects of word shape, phonetic, interpretation, citation.
