The needs of the development of contemporary city sculpture has been as the city is getting into people’s horizons, and occupies more and more important position, how to better let the city sculptures serve the city, the environment and public problem is that we need to think about. This article from the perspective of public urban sculptures, and analyzes the current situation of the construction of the public.To strengthen the construction of urban sculpture public fundamental purpose mainly has three aspects: first, to make the city sculptures joint city spirit, in line with the historical and cultural connotation of the city, to represent the "name card" of the city’s image. Second, make the city sculptures harmony in public space, makes the life of citizens and comfortable leisure space, but also enhance the vitality of the surrounding environment. Third, can build and mass interaction of city sculpture, the public’s daily life and the inner need, also the construction of urban sculpture publicity activities to improve the public public consciousness and aesthetic level.The article first explains what is urban sculpture, publicity and public relations, and analyzes city sculptures existing problems and causes of public construction, finally from the perspective of the public relations, feasible solution. Public relations strategy is mainly based on two-way communication, from two aspects of government leading and public, strengthen the interaction between urban sculpture organizers and public, the hope can promote the construction of the public of city sculpture.
