This is a translation practice report about Problems of Mountainous Countries(Chapter 4-6). The author of this book is J.J.Jeenbaev, and it was published by the National Academy Of Sciences O f The K yrgyz Republic.During her translation practice, the writer uses the Skopos rule, coherence rule and fidelity rule of Skopos Theory and Nord’s functionality +loyalty Theory to guide the writer’s translation practice. Meanwhile, the practice was divided into two levels: word and sentence. Different methods and techniques were used under the guidance of different rules. In this translation practice report, the writer listed several examples to analyze how these rules could guide her translation practice and at last show that Skopos Theory can direct translation practice effectively.The report is divided into five parts: Part O ne is an introduction to the translation practice background and its significance. Part Two gives a brief introduction of translation task and the characteristics, difficulties in translation. Part Three is the theory framework. This part is about the brief introduction of Skopos Theory which guiding the translation practice of translator. Part Four discusses the translation techniques and methods under the guidance of the Skopos Theory. Part Five concludes with the lessons and implication the translator gets during the translation practice.
