A Practice Report On The Guide Interpreting Of The Baoding Hui-style Garden

The interpreting practice report takes the consecutive interpretation for example, in the basis of the combination of interpreters, and with the interpreting practice quality and the characteristics of consecutive interpretation, putting forward some solutions of the guide interpretation through the practice. Because the Hui-style garden is still a private park, belonging to the rare architecture under national protection, this guide interpretation is relatively initial in Baoding city and even around the whole northern area in China. The main point of this report is to investigate the solutions gloriously to Chinese architecture across the cultural barriers in interpreting and the other solutions to building interpreting. The essence of interpretation is to investigate cross-cultural communicative behaviors. It is very meaningful to effectively convey the Chinese culture to foreigners on the fact that the gap between Chinese and western culture has brought a lot of challenges to both of us. According to this practice, the interpreter finished this report and summarized the techniques and the strategies.This interpreting practice report includes task description, process description, the interpreting preparation, case analyses and practice summary, the five parts. Task description part is an overall introduction of the interpreting practice, and this paper introduces the interpretation activities of the time, place, audience and other related information. Process description part is the overall summary of interpreting practice. Translation preparation section is to guide the consecutive interpretation skills in interpreting language habits, cultural background, interpreting objects of Hui-style garden and the historical background of the garden. Case analysis part is the core part of interpreting practice report, based on the guide interpreting practice, combining with the usual learning interpreting skills, the interpreter respectively analyzes the practice especially some specialized terms, phrases and short sentences. Summing up the satisfying interpreting parts and improper parts, the author summarizes the experience and lessons from the practice, and makes a deep thinking afterwards.
