With the global warming of "Chinese fever", the status of Teaching Chinese as Second Language has been growing awareness and attention, and formed a separate system. In this system, it divided into pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, Chinese characters. Each stage has committed to research scholars, and have achieved good results. But every stage of these four parts are not evenly distributed, the results of previous studies focused on teaching vocabulary and grammar, relatively little research on Chinese characters and pinyin.The perspective of this paper not only from teaching Chinese characters as specialized courses, and also combine the situation of the actual current curriculum of Teaching Chinese as Second Language, as a replenish knowledge of the comprehensive course. Through a combination of components and etymology, and proposes a new method of teaching Chinese characters, named The teaching method of components etymology. This paper is divided into our parts. The first part is a brief background of this study, as well as some of the necessary theoretical support; the second part is base on the "Class eight hundred words," to analysis and statistical to every character.
