Before Hegel,Vico、Voltaire、Kant and other researchers had attempted to study the world history from the aspect of philosophy, but they have only remained on the historical science level. Hegel, though, put forth the notion of philosophical world history, which establish the position of the philosophical world history from methodological angle. Moreover, he explicitly discussed the two sides of the fundamental question of world history theory, that is, the question of the relation between whole and part and the question of the realization of world spirit. The paper aims to elaborate on Hegel’ s theory in four parts based on the basic concepts of world history theory.Part one: introduction, includes Domestic and International Research Actuality、Research Significance、Research Method.Part two: analyses the social background、theoretical background of the absence of Hegel’ s world history theory, and further explains the establishment of Hegel’s world history theory.Part three: elaborates on the basic content of Hegel’s world history theory and the development process of the world history.Part four: Based on analysis above, concludes Hegel’s influence to Marx’ theory on world history and the influence to Fukuyama’ theory about the end of history.
