Today, with the rapid growth of the informatization, the cultures of different countries melt into our daily life step by step, and, as an ancient civilization, the culture and custom of China also spread abroad. In China there is a slang: food is the paramount necessity of the people. Chinese people never cease pursuing the delicacy, and the food culture becomes an indispensable part of our life. In 2012, a huge food documentary-A Bite of China was released. It gained a very good reputation afterwards. In August 2014, the author went to USA as an exchange student, and found out that the documentary also has a large number of audience there, and the spread of Chinese food culture is quite wide in America. The second season of A Bite of China was released in 2014, and in this season, the theme of talking about the innumerable links between people and food was unchanged.In this report, the author selects two episodes in A Bite of China Season Two: Footprint and Heart-To-Heart Teaching. This documentary contains not only the Chinese cuisine culture, but also the Chinese etiquette culture. The author uses different translation approaches to handle articles of various styles. There are four parts of this report: in the first part, the author expounds the purpose of interpreting and the background, language style of the material; in the second part, the author precisely explains the whole process which includes the preparation, the interpreting task fulfillment and revision, and in the revision section, the difficulties are expounded; in the third part, combined with specific examples and translation theories, the author expounds how to cope with the interpreting of food and culture vocabulary and the interpreting of captions; in the last part, the author makes the conclusion about this translation task.
