With the rapid development of educational information, multimedia aided teaching has become an important assisted means of teaching practice among many universities.The multimedia teaching resources include text,image,sound,animation and video, these resources can provide teachers and students all-round,three-dimensional sensory stimulation,it also changed the traditional teaching mode and learning mode,making the online teaching and self-learning more efficient and faster.Today,with the rapid development of network and multimedia,teachers have to make full use of the Internet and multimedia technology in class,to improve the diversification,information,knowledge and interests in English teaching,to improve the quality of English teaching.The paper firstly search the status of foreign assisted teaching resources,then conduct the literature inquiries and reading,interviews and questionnaires,by contrast,I found that the advantages and disadvantages of the foreign assisted teaching resources in China.The paper choose the constructivism teaching theory,humanism education theory and performance evaluation theory as a guide,considering the cognitive characteristics of college students,analysis the characteristics of foreign language courses in universities.According to the teaching principles of " student-centered, process-oriented, communicative purposes and people-oriented ", exerting the advantage of information and technology and multimedia resources.This paper design the assisted teaching resources from five aspects,they are listening,speaking,reading,writing and translating,using the media resources(foreign language periodicals,foreign songs,movies,cartoons,English DVD disc,English broadcast, network video),follow the training software,Internet chat,teacher-student interactive online,online translation software and online English writing test and other assisted means to cultivate students’ learning.Teachers create a real environment for students to learn foreign language by using multimedia assisted teaching resources. In the process, intonation and grammar really.And the following four aspects in foreign language teaching,radiation listening, reading, writing and translation can provide some good references for the construction of the network resources of foreign language teaching.
