Qualtiy Management Research Of Localization Translation Project

The conversion between different languages is becoming the bridge which links the countries and companies, due to the more and more international cooperation. Then Translation industry appears, and the localization translation is one part of this industry, which we researched.At first it was due to some big companies like IBM and Microsoft, the computer software industry in order to achieve cross-border operations, to help users overcome language barriers in different markets, gradually localized part of the software (such as translation and document publishing, etc.), or all of the work outsourced to a special company who provide localization services, thus a unique industry-the localization industry emerged. However, localization translation itself, quality is often unsatisfactory. The reasons are varied, but one of the main reasons is the lack of effective quality management.This paper describes the development of quality management and theoretical research results, and the view of quality management raised by localization industry experts, to provide a theoretical basis for the actual operation of the later chapters. Then finding out the main factors affecting the quality of translation quality based on the language point of view by analyzing the translation quality management of the author’s company (referred to as Company A), and applying the PDCA cycle theory to actual production to optimize quality control process, then finally using the data comparison methods to verify the effectiveness of the PDCA cycle in translation quality control aspects,to provide some help and inspiration for translation quality management of localization.
