Since twenty-first century, cultural and creative industry has become an important indicator to measure the soft power of a country and region. Promoting the growth of the trade scale of cultural and creative industry can promote the level of the national economy continuously. At the same time, cultural and creative industry is also an important way to output the core culture values.Firstly, this paper studies the meaning of cultural and creative industries to determine the relevant concepts, expounds the cultural and creative products and cultural and creative services classification standards, in-depth analysis of the scale, structure, flow of Beijing cultural and creative industries and export trade. The overall level of the industry and the level of international trade are analyzed through three indicators, i.e. the MS, RCA, and TC.Secondly, through SWOT analysis, we found that the advantages of Beijing include: economy grows continuously, culture is very rich in resources, creative talents cultivation conditions are superb, and a number of encouraging policies are implemented. The disadvantage are that: the reform of the cultural system is not perfect, the creative development ability could not match the rich cultural resources of, the cultural and creative industry lacks of famous brands with international competitiveness and influence. In addition, the continuous changes in the international external environment will not only bring more opportunities for the development of Beijing cultural and creative industry, but also bring the challenges of competitors for Beijing to overcome, such as the increase in overseas investment risk and other factors.Through the construction of the gravity model, regression results are analyzed. It is found that the economic level, educational level, cultural distance of Beijing and its trade partner’s will have a role in promoting cultural and creative industries export trade, and language differences will have a negative impact on export scaleFinally, this paper puts forward that Beijing should improve the level of the national economy, efficiently use cultural resources, strengthen the government support, optimize the pattern of overseas market, implement of brand strategy, and promote the export trade of cultural and creative industries.
