Report On Consecutive Interpretating Of Premier Li Keqiang’s Speech At The Opening Ceremony Of 2014 Summer Davos Forum

The thesis is a practice report on consecutive interpretation from Chinese to English. Through using practice report on consecutive interpretation of the 8th Summer Davos Forum as translation task and Premier Li Keqiang’s speech at the opening ceremony of 2013 Summer Davos Forum as analysis target, the thesis makes a detailed analysis on the practice use of conversion and sum up some regular pattern.Translation Strategy is much more general than translation skills. There are many translation skills such as transformations, segmentation, combine and so on. Through the analysis section, the thesis discusses about the using of translation skills, especially for conversion from the perspective of word formation, the conversion of sentence elements, sentence pattern transformation and the changes of the voices.According to the description and analysis of the task, the writer makes a summarization through the translation skill and usual practice and makes a detailed demonstration on active voice into passive voice from Chinese into English. Also makes a few suggestions on how to practice.
