An Escort Interpreting Practice Report On Montenegro Delegation Visiting Harbin

With the vigorous development of global economy and trade, international exchanges and communications are being increasing rapidly. In order to achieve a collusive growth for various industries, globalization and integration of economy are moving forward steadily. Interpreter plays an indispensible role in international multiple language conditions. Interpreter acts as a bridge for communication between different language holders, we are requested to make a comprehensive and accurate understanding besides an objective description for our work. This interpreting practice report is based on the 26 th Harbin International Fair for Trade and Economic Cooperation(2nd China-Russia Expo) during October 12-16, 2015.This report is divided into the following four chapters. Writer describes briefly the consigner, requirements and features of the project in the first chapter “Task Description”. An elaborate explanation of interpreting preparation, interpreting process and interpreting evaluation is given in the second chapter. The third chapter “Case Analysis” is an important chapter for this report. After the meeting, the author summarizes analysis of sentence translation in terms of appropriateness of language, selection of professional words and guidance of Interpretive Theory respectively to list difficulty points and to raise up methods and solutions combined experience of my own. The fourth chapter is a conclusion for this practice. Based on the spotinterpretation experience, the author gives a general description about necessary skills that an interpreter should possess, and make a discussion for future practice and career possibility.
