Worth-based Choice Model hold the idea that in the decision-making process people will not remain passive to choose on a given set of characteristics or dimensions, but keep initiative to reform and in the reformation process characterization of space generating additional features or obtain and choose greater "value" of delay in the dimensions.From the perspective of intertemporal choice,Worth-based Choice may bring greater benefits in the future than Price-based Choice,thus,people tend to choose vocational delay of gratification.In practical work,we face a lot of pressure and trivia, which may result in our available psychological resources depletion and decreased self-control.Higher self-control is needed for vocational delay of gratification to maintain,at the same time,it’s a great influnce on career success and job satisfaction for the employees.Psychological resource depletion will be what kind of impact for vocational delay of gratification,and how should we compensate for resources depletion.The measurement questionnaire drewed up by domestic scholars for vocational delay of gratificationisn’t suitable for experimental research.As a result,this study specially compiled vocational delay of gratification scene questionnaire.There were two studies in this paper:one compiled vocational delay of gratification scene questionnaire; the other discussed the effect of psychological resource depletion to vocational delay of gratification and the compensation of the concept of time as well as money start to resources depletion. Following results were obtained through two studies:First,vocational delay of gratification,individual career management and job satisfaction among the two there were a significantly positive correlation.Second, Demographic variables like gender, years of working couldn’t be significant predictors of vocational delay of gratification.Third, the degree of psychological resources depletion significantly affected the overall level of individual vocational delay of gratification.Fourth, the concept of time and money start compensated for resources depletion.Conclusion: The loss of the psychological resources to meetthe negative impact of the employees’ vocational delay of gratification can to get some compensation through money and time start concepts.
