Japanese agriculture is one branch of Asian agriculture. With the gradual recovery of the Japanese economy after the Second World War, the Japanese agriculture has developed rapidly. Japanese government made export policy for agricultural products to improve agriculture economy. There is a lot similarity in the agricultural economy between China and Japan, so that it is significant for us to summarize Japanese experience. The author finished the translation project reflecting the setting of export targeting about expanding Japanese aquatic products and related problems, at the same time, completed an report of this translation project, with an aim to make an contribution to our agricultural economy and the Japanese-Chinese agricultural translation.Chinese scholar Hu Gengshen came up with an approach to translation as adaption and selection at the third Asian Translator Seminar in 2001. In the book Approach to Translation as Adaptation and Selection published in June,2004, professor Hu officially proposed this theory. He made a new description and explanation to the nature, process, standard, principle and ways of translation from a view of adaption and selection. He further explained the combination of the translation studies and ecology and put forward eco-translatology, and published the paper Interpretation of Eco-Translatology. The author attempts to analyze the thesis and guide the translation from an view of eco-translatology and three-dimensional transformations in order to have a better understanding of agricultural economy translation. This report is divided into four parts:the first is an introduction of the background, meaning and main contents of the study; the second is the review of the research problems; the third analyzes the specific examples with the theory of eco-translatology; the last summarizes the necessary abilities of professional translators.
