Today in the trend of economic globalization and regional economic integration, Heilongjiang province as the important part in economic corridor of China’s “One Belt and One Road” strategy, the provincial government is gradually implementing the Four Circles strategy of progressive open to northeast Asia and Asia Pacific. The provincial government is boosting the development of the local economic prosperity, also actively carrying out the “going out” strategy, sticking to the concept of Culture First and setting up the consciousness of that culture leads the economic, to constantly promote the traditional Culture transmission and modern culture innovation. The Oroqen nationality in Heilongjiang has spoken language without written language, of which the cultural character is particularly pure and honest, being the precious treasure of human history.The translation work is on the project of tourism information English translation for Tahe official website. The author of this paper took part in the translating activity, taking charge of the translation of Oroqen folk culture. In the mission, the author stick to being faithful to the original, focusing on the purpose of translation, being organized to carry out the translation practice. Combining acceptance aesthetics with translation studies, strive to language specification and harmony with expectation horizons so that the information of the original are better accepted by the target language readers. The practice report based on English translation practice, summarizes the translation content and practice process, and put forward some strategies for tackling difficulties in translation. There are five chapters in this report. The first chapter of this report, it makes a brief introduction to the translation mission, including the Oroqen nationality, the client background, text type and features. The second chapter is the introduction to the whole translation process, including problems faced in three stages of pre-translation, translation and post-translation, as well as specific operation steps. The third chapter is case analysis, to list examples of typical problems in translation and highlight difficult points of language and cultural found during translation. The fourth chapter of the report based on the case analysis and enlightenment of acceptance aesthetics in foreign propaganda translation, put forward some translation methods respectively from problems of vocabulary, sentence and discourse three the aspects, to provide the corresponding available translated texts under the guidance of specialized teachers. The fifth chapter summarizes the experience and inspiration to translation practice, meanwhile, includes the reflection on the shortcomings in the translation practice.Making an introduction of the unique ethnic culture to foreigners and making a translation into English play a part in propaganda of regional cultures, and become increasingly important. Through the translation practice and research in the Oroqen folk culture, the author of this paper hope to try to draw more people’s attention to foreign propaganda of ethnic culture, to do my small part in the field.
