With the continuous development of China’s economy and the improvement of the international status, more and more foreigners have chosen to learn chinese. At the same time,China is also vigorously promoting Chinese language to the world, the international promotion of Chinese has become an important topic in the moment. Japan and China are neighbours separated only by a narrow strip of water, have more than two thousand years in history. There has been a long history of language culture between Japan and China. Therefore, it is imperative to promote Chinese in Japan. However, if we want to promote our Chinese, we must understand the characteristics of the Japanese in learning Chinese, find out the difficulties and solve the problems. Among them, the optative verb as the key points and difficulties in teaching Chinese as a foreign language has attracted more attention. For students whose native language of Japanese, it is often cause a lot of errors due to the negative transfer of mother tongue and the transfer within the language.In order to improve the efficiency of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and help the Japanese students to master the usage of optative verbs in Chinese, the paper deliberately selected the "hui", "neng" and "ke yi" as an example which the error rate are highest. Although the predecessors have a lot of research in the "hui", "neng" and "ke yi" of noumenal research and as a second language, but most of them are remaining in the descriptive level. The analysis from semantic, grammarand other comparative aspects of Chinese and foreignis little and there is no in-depth study, the complete teaching design is almost none.Based on the current situation, the research work as fllows:The first part introducs the background, significance, research methods and sources of language material in this paper. As the theoretical basis of the research, the paper has been disposed and summed up the part of existing achievements, including the noumenal and error research of "hui", "neng", "ke yi" and pointed out some deficiencies in the paper.In the second part, by the corpus HSK composition of Beijing Language and Culture University, we counted the error rate of "hui", "neng" and "ke yi" with the foreign students whose native language of Japanese and the statistics results are visually displayed with the tables and charts. After that, we analyzed the causes of errors with structure and comparison of semantic. And classifiable discussed the effects and the errors appearing in the corpus.In the third part, according to the analysis and research, with the students whose native language of Japanese and the primary Chinese level as the teaching object, carrying on the specific teaching design of the misusage that the highest error rate of "hui" and "neng".Part four is a summary of the above reserach, and proposed the lack of article.
