The volitive auxiliary is a kind of special word in Chinese, and it is also one of the key and difficult points of Chinese learners. With the development of the teaching Chinese as a foreign language, more and more attention has been paid to the volitive auxiliary. The main content of this paper is the study of the teaching volitive auxiliary "Yao" in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and basing on the errors in the HSK corpus and the questionnaire, the errors of the foreign students in the learning of the volitive auxiliary "Yao" are analyzed. In addition, the author also draws on the research of the volitive auxiliary "Yao" and the research results of the volitive auxiliary "Yao" in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and the relevant linguistic theories and language teaching theories are also used. The aim of the this paper is providing some valuable references for the study of the volitive auxiliary "Yao" in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The focus of this paper is to make a summary of foreign students in the use of the volitive auxiliary "Yao". Emphatically analyzing the causes of the errors, and finally puts forward some specific improvement methods for the teaching strategies of the volitive auxiliary "Yao".This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction, which mainly describes the purpose, significance, objects, and the general situation and achievements of the research in this field.In the second part, it describes the meaning and usage of the volitive auxiliary "Yao", and it also analyze the difference of the volitive auxiliary "Yao" and the similar verbs.In the third part, the paper analyzes the linguistic facts about the volitive auxiliary "Yao", the main way is through the research and analysis of the HSK corpus, and focusing the analysis of the types and causes of errors.In the fourth part, through the research and analysis of the volitive auxiliary "Yao", some suggestions are put forward to the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.
