With the curriculum reform spreading,many educators attracted at the flipped classroom as it’s unique perspective. A large mount of deaf and dumb sit in classroom as vocational education has not gotten rid of the influence of traditional teaching model. Flipped Classroom who meets the needs of teachers and students by information technology injects fresh blood to the curriculum reform. It requires independent learning and emphasis personalized training which are meet the requirements of English teaching reform in higher vocational colleges. In this thesis, the author taking class 1 who majoring in computer network in Hunan Information Technology Institute as the study object,while class 2 as the controlled object. Flipped Classroom carried out in the reform of vocational English teaching for a short term on basis of experimental、document analysis、questionnaire survey research and SPSS research in hope to provide practical basis for teachers to improve teaching efficiency.Firstly, this thesis introduces the research background and current research in overseas and domestic of Flipped Classroom,as well as the present situation of higher vocational English teaching and proposes the idea of applying the Flipped Classroom Model to English teaching. The thesis also summarizes the research objectives and contents,including research methods and research significances.It introduces the definition and features of Flipped Classroom and also analyzes related theories to Flipped Classroom teaching with the help of questionnaire survey and interview methods to discusses the feasibility of flipped classroom in Higher Vocational English teaching. Secondly, the author analyzed the experimental class and controlled class with Quantitative research andQualitative research to get the independent sample t test from which to know the performance of them is obviously different that verified Flipped Classroom applied in higher vocational English teaching is good for teaching effect and promoting the development in all-round quality.It is popular in students. Finally, the author summarized the deficiencies in application and put forward some advice on four aspects:improving the teachers’ quality 、 changing the students’ attitude and designing the Miro-course resources and teaching process reasonably.
